Julissa
I Juju am a professional dancer, educator, and movement facilitator based in the New York/NJ area. I began dancing at the age of 8 with a background spanning in ballet, pointe, contemporary, modern, jazz, heels, and expressive movement practices. I bring a grounded, intentional approach to dance education that emphasizes both technical development and embodied awareness. I am also, a licensed practicing nurse in the NJ area.
Juju has danced with the Empire Heels Dance Team, Teaneck Terpsichoreans, Alvin Ailey Extension Spring Performance Workshop 2025, and Broadway Dance Center Student Performance 2025. She has created pieces for artists including Angelique Rodriguez and continues her training at Broadway Dance Center and Steps

I grew up doing ballet and modern dance and I took my first pole class in 2019 and haven't looked back since! I've been consistently doing pole dance for almost 4 years. I love working on making movements look smooth, controlled, and purposeful. I make sure my students feel confident and sexy as they try new things and find their style in pole dance!
